Five Day Trip to the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Bryce Canyon
Sunday
On the morning of the first day, we’ll depart from the rendezvous point in Los Vegas via Route 66, where we will stop and learn about the route’s preceding history, even boasting Marilyn Monroe in its commercials. Come early afternoon, we’ll arrive at Tusayan, Arizona, situated at the entrance of the Grand Canyon, where we will check in to the hotel, have lunch, and then continue to the Indian Desert View Watchtower and watch the most glorious sunset of the southeastern part of the Grand Canyon.
Come evening, we’ll return to town and watch an Imax movie about the life in the Grand Canyon, and when it’s over, return to the hotel and disperse to our rooms.
Monday
In the morning we will go to watch the sunrise from “Bright Angel Point”, undoubtedly a magnificent sight at the edge of the cliff in the depth of the valley. At the end of the observation, we’ll stop for a light breakfast, and then walk a short trail and experience firsthand the might of the Canyon. Towards noon, we’ll head out towards Lake Powell and the town “Paige”. We’ll stop for a tour at the Horseshoe Bend and from there continue to Antelope Canyon.
Come evening, we’ll arrive at the hotel for the night.
Tuesday
Early in the morning, we’ll set out for a what will undoubtedly be the climax of the trip – a sail in Lake Powell, through the flamboyant bays and canyons at the heart of the sweet water lake, to the Rainbow Bridge, the largest natural bridge in the world that was even counted as one of the world’s seven wonders (the list is updated every few years). The entire bridge was formed by natural means – winds and climate changes. At the end of the tour, we’ll anchor back at shore for lunch and then there will be given free time to spend on the shore. Then we will return to the hotel and in the evening go out to town.
Wednesday
We’ll head out towards Bryce Canyon. When we arrive, we’ll first check in to the hotel, get ready and then go for a hike to the canyon’s most magnificent sight, where all travelers enjoy themselves more than any other canyon thanks to sights alone. This place is called “The Wall”.
Come late afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel and part for the evening.
Thursday
After breakfast, we’ll go for a short hike on Queen’s Garden Trail to Inspiration Point. At these two places you’ll be able let your imagination run free and experience most powerful sight Bryce Canyon can convey to any traveler. At the end of the hike, we’ll return to the starting point, have lunch and make our way back to Las Vegas.
