Sunday

On the morning of the first day, we’ll depart from the rendezvous point in Los Vegas via Route 66, where we will stop and learn about the route’s preceding history, even boasting Marilyn Monroe in its commercials. Come early afternoon, we’ll arrive at Tusayan, Arizona, situated at the entrance of the Grand Canyon, where we will check in to the hotel, have lunch, and then continue to the Indian Desert View Watchtower and watch the most glorious sunset of the southeastern part of the Grand Canyon.

Come evening, we’ll return to town and watch an Imax movie about the life in the Grand Canyon, and when it’s over, return to the hotel and disperse to our rooms.

Monday

In the morning we will go to watch the sunrise from “Bright Angel Point”, undoubtedly a magnificent sight at the edge of the cliff in the depth of the valley. At the end of the observation, we’ll stop for a light breakfast, and then walk a short trail and experience firsthand the might of the Canyon. Towards noon, we’ll head out towards Lake Powell and the town “Paige”. We’ll stop for a tour at the Horseshoe Bend and from there continue to Antelope Canyon.

Come evening, we’ll arrive at the hotel for the night.

Tuesday

Early in the morning, we’ll set out for a what will undoubtedly be the climax of the trip – a sail in Lake Powell, through the flamboyant bays and canyons at the heart of the sweet water lake, to the Rainbow Bridge, the largest natural bridge in the world that was even counted as one of the world’s seven wonders (the list is updated every few years). The entire bridge was formed by natural means – winds and climate changes. At the end of the tour, we’ll anchor back at shore for lunch and make our way back to Las Vegas.
